Renée Slegers has altered the Arsenal Women starting eleven in three places for their inaugural Women's Super League home fixture this season. The Gunners welcome Crystal Palace to Emirates Stadium this afternoon for a 2.45pm start.

Kyra Cooney-Cross, Chloe Kelly and skipper Lotte Wubben-Moy are all introduced to the team. They take the places of Kim Little, Olivia Smith and Steph Catley, with Catley moving to the bench. Catley could reach a milestone of 100 WSL appearances should she enter the match from the substitutes.

This lineup announcement comes after a 1-0 victory away to Brighton last weekend, where L. Baum netted the sole goal during the tenth minute. Arsenal presently hold fifth position in the WSL standings, having earned four points from their first two games. Their latest results include three victories and one stalemate from the previous four matches, featuring a scoreless draw against this identical Palace team only three days prior.

Recent acquisition Élisa de Almeida is included on the bench for the first occasion since her arrival. Isabella Damm, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci and Taylor Hinds are absent from the matchday group. Goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar along with defenders Katie Reid and Michelle Agyemang continue to be sidelined due to injury.

Arsenal's starting lineup is Misa; Fox, Williamson, Wubben-Moy (C), Batlle; Cooney-Cross, Stanway; Mariona, Baum, Kelly; Russo. The substitutes are Borbe, De Almeida, Catley, Holmberg, Little, Smith, Maanum, Foord and Blackstenius. Crystal Palace begin with Peyraud-Magnin; Napier, Everett (C), Lloyd-Smith, Blanchard; Larkin, Goldie, Hopcroft, Tsunoda; O’Brien, Bartrip.

The complete squad roster for the season can be found on our squad page. The side's following match is planned for next weekend.
